Feminist Hypocrisy

This is an article by someone who has burnt down the cornfield and is now surprised to find that nothing grows properly in it. Worse, she is using the situation to display her broad-mindedness and insightfulness and maybe even as a business opportunity. Unfortunately, she has no idea what she is talking about as she seems to think that men are just imperfect versions of women.

It is going to be increasingly noticeable that people who jumped on board with and eagerly participated in the dismantling of traditional wisdom are going to be shocked at the latest phase of that which they so eagerly pursued. How many of them will have the humility and wisdom to realise they have made a mistake, reassess their priorities and go back to basics as a result? Few, I predict. Most will just lament the most recent development but remain blind to what caused it as with the feminists who resist the transgender movement which is just a natural progression of their own ideology. They will be unable to see they have brought this about themselves. The leftists, the globalists, the feminists, the internationalists (no borders!), the materialists, the atheists and a whole host of other spiritual deviants will wring their hands and say this is not what we meant when it is the direct result of their thoughts and writings and words and actions. They will refuse to see the obvious, blinded by the shadows cast by their own egos. No one likes to admit having made a mistake, still less having propagated and promoted lies for their whole adult life. But unless they take the opportunity offered by being shown the consequences of their intellectual and spiritual errors they will not escape from the darkness of self-serving ideology into the light and freedom of truth. Sinners are forgiven but only when they repent, and repentance cannot be partial or conditional. It is all or it is nothing. Those who have built systems of thought and behaviour on the denial of God must wake up to what they have done and go back the whole way to the point at which their path deviated from divine reality. They cannot just retrace a few steps and try to preserve their error in an ego-saving manoeuvre which will do them no spiritual good at all. They must dig out the roots of the error or it will simply put forth new shoots.

@William - It is extraordinary, but everyday, that several groups of people - including women - people who are officially and compulsorily privileged through the legal and bureaucratic systems and by multiple processes - are nonetheless apparently utterly convinced that they are battling against massive adverse prejudices.

I shall refrain from commenting on the egregious article by the G's odious columnist; except that she and it are altogether typical of the current ruling class and their entitled minions, in all their worst aspects.

I think you've commented on it more than adequately!

@William - A further thought. There has been official and openly positive discrimination in favour of women At Least since I was at university 45 years ago. Society has been majority (sometimes monopoly) feminized in many of the major social systems, regardless of merit, ability, performance.

And Yet, the complaints from feminists about women being discriminated-against, held-back (glass ceiling etc) are more strident than ever; and the bureaucratic/ legal apparatus to favour women increases and increases without end-point.

This demonstrates that the Real motivations behind this movement are totally different from the advertised motives - and probably always has-been, considering how rare it is for feminists to see-through the false affectations.

To me this demonstrates the corrosive and corrupting power of the sin of resentment; how it feeds upon itself insatiably - and gradually mutates into sheer spite.

Because almost exactly the same trajectory can be seen for other Leftist crusades - class, race, nation, and other causes of resentment - that masquerade as motivated by 'fairness', 'justice', equality, efficiency etc.

You're absolutely right. It's a familiar pattern. The more someone or something inspired by impure motive is given the more they want and are never happy until there is a complete inversion of the situation being rebelled against, and probably they are not content even then and must proceed on a path of destruction.

Just some food for thought. A sizeable percentage of the female population will never find husbands owing to a lack of looks, poor mannerisms and lack of relationship skills.

In former eras, structures were put in place to find a place in society for 'undesirable' males and females. Convents, extended families, polygamy and arranged marriages allowed such women to find a place in society. They weren't perfect structures but they were better than the lot that undesirable males faced.

Now that these structures have been abolished, society has responded by giving these women personal agency to find their own path.

Feminism in effect frees society from the obligation to care for undesirables because the undesirables can look after themselves. The father need not care about who will provide for his daughter. The ugly woman does not have to go without physical touch and can use dating apps. Etc.

The problem of undesirables have always existed throughout history. The rage of such men and women have always wrecked their societies e.g. criminals are almost always undersirables. It isn't a problem that appears when society is in decline. It was always a problem carefully blotted out by society

What's gone wrong though is that undesirables have extremely strong agency in society especially in the media and corporate. Their anti life attitude is too strong to counter balance. They cannot help but teach all women that they are all undesirables.

The problem is a complex one and is not adequately addressed in the Bible in my opinion

Makes sense. I would just add that the Bible concerns itself with spiritual thought and action rather than helping malcontents feel better about themselves.
